I overheard a group of Norwich fans on the tube who all agreed that we were the worst home support they'd come across. The truth is that we're not great. Everyone on here takes the urine out of the Palace 'ultras', and with some reason. But they do make some noise when they get going. I like the idea of bringing back the drum, making some real noise, and perhaps even (heresy this) organising something along Palace lines.

Well, they probably don't do themselves any favours with some of the things they come out with - it can be pretty risible. But the point remains, I was impressed with the way they lifted the atmosphere in the second half at Selhurst Park when we were 1 nil up. It might even have helped Palace get back into things. And, I'm ashamed to say, it compared well with the atmosphere at LR. Of course, I'm not suggesting a Rangers Ultras modeled exactly on the Holmesdale Fanatics, but I do think we could learn something from them about how to organise and make some noise. Am I completely alone here?Originally posted by 80sCasual View PostI do hope you aint serious, what the Rangers Ultras, that's the most pathetic thing i've ever heard, It is embarrasing watching Palace do there bit, i don't ever want to see that shite at LR.

Yes, looking at Palaces home record this season it has really helped lift their team hasn't it!Originally posted by W12pHilOsOPher View PostWell, they probably don't do themselves any favours with some of the things they come out with - it can be pretty risible. not having the acoustics nonsence. If you have 18k that close together you could be loud in a field with a strong wind.
Move the god-damn family stand....they have totally killed the Loft and it has a knock on effect on the UL too. If we have no vocal support behind the goal, songs don't carry around the ground and we get isolated pockets of sounds that don't carry and often fizzles out.

I am all for moving the family stand too but can you just imagine the upheaval, this obviously cannot be done mid season, maybe it is something they could look into should we gain promotion or if we are re located to another site and consult the fans, we are important to the club and it is our support that can be a 12th man but without the clubs help on situating us right that will not happen.Originally posted by silvercue View Postnot having the acoustics nonsence. agree - can't do mid season....need a run up to it, but we serioulsy need to do what we can to make the club think about this.....I doubt it's on their agenda, let alone high up it.
