John Carew averages a goal every 3 games in a career that has seen him play often in England, France, Spain and Italy.

Awful awful record.

Definitely not a footballer.

Definitely not good enough for us.

However the whole thing is redundant as we'd never sign him whilst in this league anyway.

In order for QPR to sign high profile players - and Carew is pretty high profile compared to Championship players (and to suggets he is rubbish is daft) we have to do the following in order:

1. Gain Promotion

2. Demonstrate that we are investing in the club to stay in the Prem

3. Stay in the Prem

4. Start looking like a team that will not be scrapping for relegation every season and rise in the table

Until we do that we will not be signing big names on massive wages. Even the old crocs still want their big wage packets -so there is no way he is coming to QPR in the short term and by the time we have acheived number 4 on that list - Carew will be on a Zimmer Frame.
