    League of Louts

In the aftermath of the crowd troubles involving the supporters of Millwall FC,its not surprising they are in the top 3 of clubs with banning orders for 08/09.According to The Sun,the top three were Leeds (162 banning orders),followed by Cardiff (124)and Millwall(110).QPR (14) were apparently joint 65th with Charlton with the bulk of those below us coming from Leagues 1 and 2 with Torquay in last place at 92nd.with no banning orders .Wycombe, bless them, were in joint 87th place with 1.To their credit Fulham were 81st with 5. My feelings are that the top three(by a mile) should be thrown out of the league.

Most sensible bods do not want to get nicked or banned, hence QPR only 14 bans. The braindeads from wall, leeds and cardiff can crack on with it.

Think that shows the mentality of their supporters. They think it's clever to kick off inside a stadium when any fan/thug with half a brain knows you should keep it off site to avoid banning orders.

Or those with whole brains know not to be involved in anything that would get you banned in the first place, regardless of whether it's inside or outside of the stadium....

Be good to see some detail beyond the numbers.... quite a few clubs high up the list don't strike me as being loutish hotspots. Makes me think they've banned people for heinous things like persistent standing or chanting "sack the board" too much.

Probably many bans for drunkeness rather than football violence. That's why the geordies are up there with leeds. Millwall, well most of their fans live on a reputation and are very good at keeping it up. A lot of it is to do with male pride and a territorial thing and lack of controlling oneself when beered or charlied up.
