Felt sorry for Mackie yesterday -- when he managed to unshackle himself from the "2nd fullback" role, he made a few decent runs off the ball and the rest of the team seemed to ignore him. Then, as soon as the sainted (and non-scoring) Kenny Miller came on, they were passing to him in a way they hadn't bothered doing to Mackie.

Shan't be happy if he gets injured playing for what looks like a very poor Scotland team, who don't seem to know how to get the best out of Mackie.

Scotlands tactics were dire and playing a 4-6-0 is never going to win you a game imo. They should have mixed it up a bit but there you go. I think the experience will do JM the world of good and he should grow in confidence

awful management tactic. Cant see why he put Mackie in the team. Qpr feed Mackie he scores. Simple isnt it.
