    Tugay to QPR??

Blackburn Rovers midfielder Tugay was expected to retire at the end of the season but it is understood that Queens Park Rangers are trying to tempt him into delaying his retirement…

Looks like the dads army approach top players at the end of there careers with 1 or 2 year contracts

    will it work?

Total waste of time, another player after an end of career pay-off.

1 year deal only. Could be another Wilkins. Still a quality player. Worth a punt IMO.

Could be OK if he is in it for the football and not the money
I blew a lot on vodka and tonic, gambling and fags. Looking back, I think I overdid it on the tonic. - The one and only Stanley Bowles

I think he would be a great signing, he might not play every game or even complete a full game in his entire time at LR, but the what other players will learn from him on the training ground will be invaluable IMHO.

With the return of Buzsaky and Rowlands we only need one other central midfielder to compete with the likes of Ephraim, Mahon and Leigertwood which for me would be Lopez and not Tugay.
