    HUGE

Makes you realise just how valuable good PROFFESSIONAL people like NW and Derry are at a football club.

Refreshing to hear this instead of bit part Italians being signed hey?
I need some time in the sunshine, I gotta slow it right down.

Agreed, rather players like Tarrabt, helguson, Mackie and Derry than the Tomassi's and Parejo of this world

Now we are seeing what a proper manager can do

Makes you realise that when signing players clubs/managers need to take into account the mental state or attitude of the prospective signing. I didn't rate the signing of Derry at all initially -thought he had limited ability. I now realise I was sooooo wrong plus I've got an appreciation of how his attitude is an assett too.
Maybe that's Warnock's secret - spotting players with the right attitude and an abilkity to cultivate that attitude too?

thats what wenger and fergie do, its all about the attitude as much as the ability, whereas Man City go for the skill and have team problems

Wish Derry was our Captain. He's like Stevie Palmer. Great understated influence on the team.

Apart from actually wearing the bit of material around his arm, and tossing the coin... I'd say he already is.

unsung means not praised or noticed enough. helguson has been scoring and winning penalties and scored a last minute wonder header. thats not unsung, thats most improved.
derry jsut gets on with the job with no fuss and under most non rangers fans or the presses attention.

                      Agree with that.

Who are the players more likely to respond to when getting barked at, Taarabt or Derry? Hmmm.
