For some reason wrote 2007 at the top but as you rightly say it was a couple of years out. W18, D4, L1, F55, A17 - 2.52 points per game
Second 23 games:
W12, D7, L4, F35, A15 - 1.87 points per game
Massive difference between the two halves of the season. 2.52 points per game is the equivalent of 115 points over 46 matches. 1.87 ppg is the equivalent of 86 points which that year would have meant finishing 3rd.
