QPR in for Reading CB, Alex Pearce

Reading defender Alex Pearce is wanted by Sheffield United and Championship leaders QPR.
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

He ain't bad but would not take Connelly or gorkss place would rather have matt mills off them instead if were in the Market for another centre half

QPR in for Reading CB, Alex Peace

Alex Pearce has been linked with a move away from the Mad Stad…

Pearce to QPR (or Sheff Utd)

With no league football due to the international break, the media are clearly looking for stories to fill airtime and Alex Pearce could be on the move according to TalkSport.

The Royals centre back is attracting the attentions of QPR and Sheffield United, with the Championship leaders favourites for his signature.

Pearce is 'apparantly' rated at £500,000 and a move could be set to go through when the transfer window opens.

Regular Vital Reading readers will know that I am not Pearcy's biggest fan but I cannot see us wanting to sell him, especially to a rival club. With Matt Mills prone to a red card, and Ingimarsson prone to a long term injury, it's not something I see happening.

Well now Rambo is injured we only have Gorkss Fitz and Connolly, and Fitz and Connolly have been injury prone in the past so it would make sense to have a 4th CB instead of having to play Orr/Legs out of position.

                Yeah.

Was speaking to my mate about CB's the other day and we both reckoned we need another as we seem lacking if we get any more injuries/suspensions.

I know his agent very well and he hasn't said anythigng to me. He is a fantastic young CB, genuine potential, level head.

Why would we sign a reading reserve player, they play Ingarmasson + Mills.
                    Rather Legs a CB.

if true that Neil wants him, that's good enough. Anyone here wanting to criticise NW's judgement on players is wasting their time
