    It is a shame that former Liverpool manager Rafael Benitez will not be around to reap the benefits of the radical and wholesale changes he made to the club’s youth and reserve set-up during his six-year tenure at Anfield.

    Did the lad want to move that bad, or was the fee too enticing for Rangers to refuse? Seems to me with all the money at the club they should have kept him!

        Timing was all wrong in my opinion this all happened before the mittals stepped up, I'm sure if the club had the stability and direction since ab stepped up and with nw's record with youth that we would be more attractive, good about sell on clauses though!

            Gutted when he left. Lot's of politics behind this deal. I am sure one day we will hear the whole story.
