Will go back to Spurs but negotiations are "fluid" with regard to an extension up until Christmas.
Fly in the ointment is Spurs current defensive injury problems. On Saturday Huddlestone was forced to play centre back with Corluka, Kaboul, Dawson, King, Bassong, Woodgate and Gallas all nursing problems of differing levels of seriousness....
If I was a betting man, I'd say he'd be allowed out again but Harry has been seriously impressed with Walker's performances so may decide to keep him as cover. Joe Jordan and/or Tim Sherwood have been to see all of his games and have said that he's "stepped up a level". -
Ta for update. Be nice to keep him till May, really would as he is too good for this league. Our defence will be the key to whether we get out of this division automatically and he currently is an important element. It's a bit harsh on Orr and as he is our player. I'm sure Warnock would like that problem of having to chose between the two.Comment

From the couple of times I have seen Walker, he looks like a great attacking full-back and one for the future. I think Orr is probably more solid defensively, so it depends what we want? I can see Orr making less mistakes, but Walker creating more. I really like them both.Comment

£8m? If only. Lol. From what Nodge is saying he is out of our league (literally). More likely I'd have thought is £2m for Mancienne come the end of the season if we go up.Comment
