Empty Block of seats

Any reason why there was an empty block of seats at the end of the away section. I got my ticket at about 13.30 and there were only a few left.

Seems some had to buy tickets in the home stands? odd!

Saw a guy and his two kids sitting in an empty block trying to eat their burgers at around 2.15 away from the crowd.

Stewards told him he had to move. He said he was going to anyway but just wanted his kids to have a bit of room to eat. They weren't having it and ordered him back into the crowd.
