Would you resign Mahon?

Talking about Shaun Of The Dead on another thread, we can't depend on him playing the full 46 games (especially at 33), would you resign Mahon for another year to act as cover/stand in?

We have Faurlin, Rowlands, Buzsaky and Legs who can play in that position, no need.

Buzz struggles in that role as does Legs. Rowly is an unknown quantity in terms of fitness, and seems to break down very soon after every return he makes.
We know that Faurlin and Mahon work as a midfield pairing, so why not? (Our good run last season coincided with them playing together and ended when Mahon was injured -- look it up!)

Yes, as he is the most natural replacement for Derry at the moment so would put him on a month to month contract until Rowlands is fit.
