I had my Bike (peddled power one) locked up at the Swimming Pool, straight on it and out of the way of trouble, I don't know why these idiots have to do this, because its so cool to beat someone up and put them in hospital, both set of fighting fans are ****

Fulham is a typically diverse London area with something for everyone - from the hustle and bustle of North End Road Market, to the refined chicness of the iconic Fulham Road. It boasts superb pubs and restaurants, two Premier League football clubs and excellent transport links.

'Eight arrests have been made so far at the QPR vs Millwall match amid reports Shepherd's Bush was a 'war zone' ahead of kick-off.

Police confirmed at half-time seven people had been detained for football-related disorder and one held for possessing an offence weapon'

More threads about the violence than the game. Shame.

Think the ref had been told to make sure Millwall didn't lose so as not to annoy the Wall fans.
Felt tonight like I was on the set of a Die Hard film -- trying to get back on the eastbound side of the Westway was tough -- police vans everywhere, police running everywhere, dogs, horses -- haven't seen that level of police presence for a long time.

Total agreement. I also come from an angle of living somewhere where this wonderful sport is still not always looked at as any big deal compared to other sports and it doesn't help my argument when the after match fights take up more of news coverage than the actual match.

what ever actually went down and all I am hearing is 2nd hand comments, a fight is not just one person kicking his own ass.

Agreed, it takes two to fight, and we have our own idiots, but I haven't seen anything like last night for a VERY long time, and the Millwall fans were the root cause of what went on.
Was like being back in the heady days of the 70's/80's when we took our running shoes to most matches.
Not quite as bad as back then, but a very undesirable side of football which belongs in the Dark Ages, and why the Wall fans were not held back for 20 or 30 mins (as we are at their ground, if we don't want to get the train at South Bermondsey) is totally beyond me.
I'm glad we moved out of X block last night, because, at the end of the match, that was one area getting pelted with seats, darts and other objects -- I just hope our friends in the wheelchair area down there are all OK. The ripping up and seat chucking is something which seems to be a Millwall speciality.

That did turn into about 30/40 but seen much worse before. Cardiff definately were much worse. I heard it had kicked off near the westfields centre but some of it being handbags. Millwall were in a pub opposite the conningham but the police won the day. I think you are fine if you wanted to avoid getting in a scrap.
Where did you get that from, funny as. If you are talking the BQ it was all rangers and ob kept us there until 8:30.
A few wall turned up at KFC and bashed 3 scarfers, typical wall.
