Big Match Build Up..V Millwall Live 7pm..QPR official.>With Richard Langley

On QPR Player this Tuesday will be an hour build up to the game, if you cannot make it down to Loftus Road.

We've had some teething problems in the first two weeks, but looks like now they have been worked out.

Great to get emails from over the world which we did from 230 onwards on Saturday. Early days, nice to see it working.

This may lead to some away game coverage and weekly phone in programme in due course

Are you a presenter and if so does that mean that you miss the game?

      No mate..

Basically sitting in the press box live on air an hour before kick off, for fans who cannot get to games so they can get build up of the game. Fans email predictions, give views etc etc. Basically if you listened to Player before it starts bang on 3pm, goes off air at half time and then again at final whistle, now fans can enjoy a proper build up and get involved.

I went to the club about the idea a couple of months ago when i was broadcasting for ONFM radio in Hammermsmith, turns out Brian (Rootbeer) had the same idea 7-8 years ago and it never took off. We are just hoping to give more media coverage to the club and its supporters via the official, as we are all fed up of turning on the radio and hearing about Man U, Chelsea etc

What fans complain about most, is the lack of QPR coverage on Radio, so what we intend to do is, have a phone in for home and away games via QPR player which fans can listen to via the internet, in time

We had fans from New Zealand, Amsterdam, Dublin to Munich to USA on Saturday, so its very good for them and of course fans who cannot get to the games for a variety of reasons.

I watched the game from South Africa Road.

Oh I see and thanks for explaining what happens

I take it that this curtails your pre match beverages somewhat?

                    Stan, might go with that.

I just to want to make sure it works first and get the feedback from the club. The club had literally over a hundred positive emails, but only two negatives ones, so its all looking good at the moment, but want to take it step by step at the moment

                      Sounds good mate.

Not a subscriber myself, but sounds a big improvement on the commentary only offering they have been providing.

Best of luck with it buddy.

                            Yes.

Unfortunately my birthday was September 1st otherwise i would have requested Pete sung AC/DC's 'It's A Long Way To The Top'.

So there we have it, our answer as to why they won't give us much coverage on the Football League show. It's all Petes fault.
