I've always got off at selhurst, but then you have to walk up the hill. Is thornton heath less of a climb to the ground?

Norwood Junction is not too far a walk to the ground. However, please be aware that the London Overground now stops there so unless you want to go to New Cross, Surrey Quays and other delightful stops in East & North London - check the destination boardsDon't Get Mad get Even!Comment

Thornton Heath or Norwood (Junction) are both easy. More variety of pubs in Norwood. It'll be Rangers everywhere anyway. The Moons in Thornton Heath is/was always a good bet but the massive turnout last year made it impossible to get served. I expect similar this time.Comment

Definately Norwood junc. Easy walk and some very good pubs around that area.I played sunday league football today.
Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.
I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.
We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!Comment

Norwood, pub to the right at station is cracking for bumping into a coach load of Ajax fans.
Quite handy to hang around after as well whilst waiting for Foolham to get back into Town
