    People are talking...

    About QPR.

I can normally walk around my town in Rangers tops and no on has ever really batted an eyelid - the occasional s****** from Chelsea fans aside or people wondering whether I'm Reading?

Suddenly, everyone I meet when I'm wearing a Rangers shirt wants to talk about us. Shop assistants who normally ignore me (thankfully) suddenly want to know about how I think we will do. Train ticket Inspectors comment on Rangers and random strangers are driving past shouting "You R's" at me (I think it's what they say?) and even my boiler man today saw my various memorabilia in my flat and said he thought we were going up and then - letting himself down somewhat - said "You should do, you've got all the money behind you".

Anyone else noticed similar things where they live? :pleasantsuprise:

Yeah I have, I'm a season ticket holder live in the midlands and am now getting people previously uninterested acknowledging us and saying about us going up. Also getting numerous texts from Arsenal and other supporting mates raving about us. The other day was in a shop when some woman walked up to me said ooh that's a nice top, Queens Park Rangers - my husband supports them and says they are going up and then she walked off. All a bit scary really but hey long may it continue.

Every time I get a text from Arsenal supporting people I know, I always reply with "I was there when Jenson scored........ plus Gallen, Allen and Impey"

What a day out that was.

Was also sitting in the stadium in Paris with Arsenal mates when Seaman got done from the half way line, what a day that was as well.

I was there when Jensen scored - sat in the clock end with one of my said Arsenal supporting mates. As you say what a day that was. He said to me whatever you do don't erupt if Rangers score, ok no prob. 5 mins later Gallen 1-0 which was followed by wild celebration by me, the Gooners around were not impressed.

I was there too, with a bunch of Gooners and was the only one smiling as we left - only to get gassed by the froggie police!!!

I keep getting called an Rshole but I'm not sure if it's connected as this has been a long standing thing.

I've noticed it all going a little quiet tbh. The jeering and jibes over managerial merry go rounds etc have all dried up. No one can take the ****. Not even of the way we are winning. It is a joy to be Rangers at the moment.

Of course they have only shut up for now and we need to keep it up. I got a text when up in Derby taking the **** about how our bubble had burst etc. Of course that was at about 89 minutes. He shut up now and so have lots of others. I think non-Rangers think we have it sorted this year. Or its ours to throw away and they are waiting to see which. I like the silence myself!

I've converted my Spanish colleague into a QPR fan, and have kept him updated with all the results this season.

When he found out I was QPR his response was, "CuPR, what happened to them, they are a classic team!!?" That put a smile on my face.

People in Zurich love my Guinness shirt as well.
                            Here for the weekend.
