I think Mackie , personally won't get a shot for England, but he could definitely start for Scotland, what do you guys think?

Definitely give it a go for Scotland if he gets a call up, they need someone like him.

20 goals in the Premiership and he has to be looked at.

yeah I remember the scottish teams of the 70's, Bremner, Lorimer, Souness, and it is a shame they have missed so many world cups, it would be great to see them back, I also think the home championship should be brought back, I remember Paul Scholes scoring and cupping his ear in Scotland, after they booed and whistled during God save The Queen, great stuff, what's the point of beating Lichstentein 6-0? Better to play Wales, Scotland, Northern Ireland and the Rep of Ireland, that's my opinion.

What's the point of him playing for Scotland? He'd end up at Middlesboro with the rest of them.

He's called Mackie... There's a clue in the name who he should play for.

That theory obviously worked for Stephen Ireland but not so, Jason Scotland or Alan Brazil.

I seem to remember a player called Alex English, from the seventies, another one was trevor hockey, fortunately there was never a Nigel Netball...

he should play for neither as international football is shite and should be scrapped. Even the world cup is only interesting because its the only football on during the summer months. I hate england. And scotland. Just my opinion of course! :-)

Has he been asked to play for any international teams?

I think he said he wanted to play for Scotland. Presumably has dual nationality, although as I have said before, there shouldn't be a choice, it's what's in your heart.
If he wants to play for Scotland, I would be very happy, and the passionate Scottish fans would absolutely LOVE the bloke

6 games in and people are asking which National Side he'll play for....

Good to see we all learnt from Ledesma....
