    Paddy Kenny

Been reading about Mackie, Taarabt, hill Derry Hogan etc having a great season playing well etc but not 1 for Kenny...not gone to any games this season so i dont know but hows he played...5 clean sheets in 6 is a massive achievment & could our lack of goals conceeded but down to him organising defence well.

he does well in so many areas but every game ive seen so far, hes fumbled a shot or two which is probably the reason why no one is really singing high praises for him..., think we are all still a bit unsure on how good he is lol. im definitely happy with him in goal ahead of cerny, just think the clean sheets are more down to faurlin n derry for closing down in the middle and our defence, who are playing really well.

apart from a couple of shots he hasnt really been tested an awful lot tbh.

credit for that must go to our defence.

Of course credit has to go to our defence, plus our midfielders defnding better. But, as most of you are aware, having played football, defenders play much better when they have confidence in their keeper. From the games i have seen this season all our defenders including bloody Hall....look very much at ease.

So yes, Kenny has made a couple of errors - but 5 clean sheets shows a very well organised defence plus confidence in their keeper.

He's a good player, dominant in the air and seems to communicate well. But hasn't had much of a chance yet - praise be - to show his shot-stopping abilities.

It would be wrong to drop him given the percentage of clean sheets, but he does worry me slightly. He's made some bread and butter stops look very awkward.

Still, conceeding two in 6 games would be nothing short of a pathetic reason to drop a 'keeper.

We've got the best defence by a clear two goals.

                      Let's hope it's a similar scenario after Saturday's game.

Kenny has only played and handful of games in the last 12 months so id still expect him to be a little rusty. So bearing this is mind the fact hes only conceded two is fantastic.
As said credit to the defence ahead of him.

There was a shot from range on Saturday against Boro and even before the ball hat hit the advertising board Kenny was in the face of our defenders who let the guy get a shot in. I'd don't recall Cerny or Camp before him ever doing anything like this and it's exactly what we've been missing for many years. The defenders won't be allowed to be lazy or take their eye of the ball for one moment with Kenny in goal. As others have said he'll make mistakes but 5 clean sheets and leadership at the very back is a great start to his QPR career.
