Mate, the reason the prices being quoted are expensive is because you are looking at 2 of the most expensive hotels in Dubai!

My parents came out in April and we looked at prices for booking direct and also on package deals. The package deal actually worked out marginally cheaper. If you are after a decent Beachside hotel at the Marina end of town but can't stretch to the cost of the One and Only then take a look at the Hilton JBR.

Not a cheaper way that I know of, either call the hotel directly or book a package. Do bear in mind that we have the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix going on in November. If you are trying to book during the same week as the Grand Prix rates will be high.

Have you called the hotels directly to ask if they have any promotional offers on?

The westin is pucker I stayed there before, I can prob get you corporate rate at the hyatt which is a lovelly hotel a bit nearer the airport but cabs are cheap.

Expedia are good for flights As you prob know if you are ok to change gulf air or quatar airlines prob under 300 or if you direct flight, emirates, virgin or ba 350 to 400.

Anything I can to do to help just pm me

thanks alot,we have expensive taste, unfortunetly.Brought the kids last time we stayed at the westin, but wasnt allowed bring them into any of the bars, which kinda spoiled it for us,so leaving them behind this time.LOVE the arabian court at the RM,but was very noisy last time with the work ongoing at that huge railway station(tram over to palm),so the appeal wasnt the same, but all that finished now,i assume.Love the rooftop bar and the beach bar and grill, but also love that steak house in the westi and those pools!!!!!......cant wait already
