Seriously? Depends how we lose. We fold and play badly and I won't be alone in reverting to moaning. A lot. Port Vale gave a ckue. More of that will be forthcoming if we fold.

If we go down fighting, sticking to our football principles, then we will go down together. And stand together. This run can't last forever - we all know that - but it is how we go down that will matter.

Okay. I looked it up. Here are the number of games lost by the automatically promoted sides over the last 5 seasons:

05/06 - 2 & 8
06/07 - 12 & 12
07/08 - 11 & 9
08/09 - 10 & 9
09/10 - 4 & 7

So we can be pretty comfortable about promotion if we lose one in seven over the season.

So we can be pretty comfortable about promotion if we lose one in seven over the season.

Good stats them. Without quibbling I'd say the above suggests you can lose 1 from 5 and go up. Were we in this division in 06/07? Looks like that was the year of nobody wanting it!
