for me, I'd say, Gordon Jago, Dave Sexton and of course, Terry Venables---

For me Terry Venebles for what he achieved all be it before my time and Gerry Francis is his 1st period and turning Sir Les ferdinand into the best striker that has worn the hoops.

gordon jago put the team (he brought stan to loftus road!) together that dave sexton nearly won the league with, so my vote would go with to gordon...although TV will always be a rangers legend as player and manager!

I thought we played very well when Don Howe was in charge, he turned our fortunes around and at the time I wanted him to remain in charge. But as it panned out Gerry did well with the squad.

Jago and Sexton were both special ones (far more so than the Portugese bell end), El Tel will always be a ledge - oh and Sir Neil of Warnock is gearing up to compete with them all if he keeps working the magic.

Most of the old timers on here traditionally mention what QPRtillidie suggest.

However, and a bit off topic, Itīs a pity that the club doesnt bring the whole bunch of the former managers of our club together once in a while. The great Stan Bowles and even Rodney Marsh are usually around on matchdays etc. But why dont we pay the legends like the above metioned Gordon Jago(Lives in the US??) Dave Sexton, Gerry Francis, Jim Smith, Terry Venables etc. such a respect.
Now and then I hear that other clubs does this quite often. Even on a frequently basis. Events like this could at least "partly" result in a rebuilding of the reputation as a family club(generationwize) we once had.

First would be Jago, then Venebles and third Gerry Francis. Sexton just put the finishing touch on what Jago had built. I think in years to come we will look back on Holloway and Warnock with the same fondness.

As was Clive Allen.

absolute rubbish. Clive Allen was a superb finisher but Sir Les was the complete striker. He had it all so definately the best.
