As you all know this site seems to struggle during the last few days of the window closing.

We will disable guests from viewing the board and you will have to login to view the main forum.

This might not sort the problem out because people will just login to the site, or the other option is charge £1.00 to access it for months July & August, which leaves us with another problem, we would have to keep the extra ram for 12 months and works out to £360 a year for the ram on top of what we pay already. We would need at least 360 members to pay so we don't lose anymore.

The next option is for you to click on the video advert above when ever you see it each day and the money will go towards the ram, each click does add up and help towards the running of this site, it's the only way we can keep this site free at all times and charging a fee is our last option.

Any other ideas then do let me know and we will look into it.

Raise money through a few online auctions. Pete and perhaps some others closely connected members could get some signed merchandise to auction on here or even ebay. Fans will pay handsomely for genuine QPR gear/stuff

Asking anyone to donate to a messageboard would seem a reasonable request, but to make that service a "pay Per View" seems rather strange.If you don't mind me saying.

Personally, if asked to pay a pound to visit this site during the months of July / August to read "rumours" would just mean i wouldn't visit the site.

As a fan who has set up a messageboard, i think its up to them to stump up that sort of extra cash to improve the service.If individuals want to donate on a personal note, again thats their perogative.But asking the public/punters - who at the end of the day,make or break a messageboard to pay for certain privilages, seems...strange

But what next £0.50 to view match reports?
£0.25 for competitions.

Either....
charge EVERYONE a small amount (one or two pounds per year) to be a member,
or stump up the cash yourselves... it's your site.


Or.... leave it alone, and maybe stop certain folk generating traffic with b*llox posts, just for the sake of traffic/hits.
