The only thing for me that is boring is the regularity in which we manage to grab failure from the jaws of success.

The point I am making is why are we having to have discussions with the football league, it would not have got to that stage if we were not so incompetent in the way we deal.

The only reason Spurs were in a similar position was that the player became available at the very last minute.

Agree we should never leave these deals to last minute, but sometimes as in the case of Smith Pompey held out until they got Kitson or a replacement, so its not always us to blame, though some presume so.
