Shittu did far more good with us than that oaf, Damion Stewart. Damo is awful and now plays in a team with one of the worst defensive records in the country. I suspect it's for a reason. Now I know Big Dan is hardly world class, but I'm shocked at the number of times I've seen him likened to Damo.

Yes, it's called "a 25 man squad", there will be many in that situation.

If you like big strong and lump it long, then yes, technically terrible players ,always out of position, or following the ball and leaving the man, we have far better (footballing) center backs now, cant se this one at all.

Defenders are there to defend and clear their lines, in the air and on the ground. That's their job, and in this league that is the most important thing. The midfield and strikers do the fancy football.

Can't tell you who many times ive seen Shittu left one on one, he's got the pace and power to hold the attacker off, stand up or run him away from goal, what does he do jumps in, misses everthing and the attacker has a clean run on goal, now thats not just once with us he does it all the time hence very little time on pitch in prem league. Defending some times is not making a tackle or going for the ball, shittu can't help himself he dives in all the time.

so why does danny take the fifth position.marsh was a genius,bowles was almost a genius,gerry was captain of england,bob hazel was shear aggression
