    From dot.org:

HAYES & Yeading United have failed to tie up a loan deal for QPR defender Lee Brown.

Manager Garry Haylock hoped to bring in the 20-year-old, who made one first-team appearance last season at Loftus Road, but the necessary paperwork was not completed in time before yesterday's deadline.

Brown played 13 times in the Conference last season in a loan spell at Salisbury City.

They have now changed it too set to depart.

    ------

Not only (seemingly) can we not bring players in but we can't get rid of or loan them out! Hearing what I am we probably had bucketloads of offers for Paddy, Vine and Borrowdale but didn't do the paperwork in time (one can only hope!)!

The loan window also closed at 6 last night but it reopens next week so Brown should be able to sign for them then. As they aren't on an International break at that level it unfortunately means he would miss Saturday's game but if they tie up the deal next week he shouldn't miss any more of the season. I'd assume the likes of Oastler and Rose and maybe some others will be going out as well.
