I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

Might not be 1st... but Billy Davies looks just a matter of time.

All this "Player Aquisition Committee" and Director of Football nonsense.... he wont have it. And I don't blame him.

F***ed us up for 2 years, now it's their turn.

Depends. Would find it hard to believe they're all sitting around deliberately hampering Forest's progress. They might even be there to keep an eye on the balance sheet and not bankrupt the club for the sake of Billy's latest tantrum, who knows.

Goddard, what are your thoughts on Martin O'Neill leaving Villa? Was he justified in walking out in your opinion?

I really wouldn't know O'Neils reasons, he hasn't said a single word about it. Yet.

I think him, Davies and Coppell are all quite emotional blokes... and all obviously lost their heart for the jobs.

Not Billy Davies yet, I know... but I think he'll be gone from Forest by Xmas.
You may be right about BD... I think Neil Warnock understands the value of a pound coin more than Davies does.

But he doesn't seem happy to me. Matter of time.

£3m for Waghorn (if to be believed) is a serious outlay for Leicester in the financial situation they're in - Sousa will need performances to improve sharpish now or he will be in real danger.

Hard to tell what way Strachan's going to go - Boro tend to stand by their managers but I don't know if they can let things continue like this given the money spent. At the same time though, the entire squad is Strachan's now so sacking him could make things much, much worse.

Very early days in the season though - remember how badly Forest started last year?
