Played centre back at a higher level than anyone on this board Pete, so you never know.I played sunday league football today.
Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.
I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.
We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!Comment

To be honest alot of people said I should of played higher. Not trying to blow my own trumpet, just saying what many others have said.
Oh and I also played a few pre season games under Clive Walker at molesey at the time, he rated me highly.I played sunday league football today.
Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

Why do you feel the need to mention these things though? It's as though you are saying your opinion is more valid than someone elses because you played to such a level - let me tell you that is not the case because as a fan of the Club your opinion counts just as much and just as little as everyone elses.
Oh and plenty have been told they could have played higher, and of course some have - and none of that addresses the fact that many players in the higher echelons of the professional game are far less talented than some of those below them.............but attitude seems to have a lot to do with who gets where.#standuptocancer

Were they implying that you should of had more crack before you took to the field? Blowing your trumpet straight after would be wasteful too!
I reckon one of the trialists could quite possibly of been the rugby player who is training with us. Think he was promised a run out at some point.Last edited by Dazzer1977; 01-09-2010, 03:08 PM.Comment
