If we are being honest, QPR is the only place he couldve passed a medical and to all intents and purposes he had 1 good season which is now 4/5 years ago....

When Cook is inevitably released I just don't see him playing at this level.

its a long season, if Adel gets injured i can see us playing 442 then cookie could have a role.

If we can get a fit cookie and a fit Rowlands would be great to see them part of a promotion challenging squad, the good things is we have so many options, when players come in they must deliver or they will be straight out again

Its all well and good being fans of players but when the reality sets in are these players even important to the club any more, personally I don't think so.

Rowlands may still have something to offer from the bench but Cook??? He should never have been resigned in the first place and has failed to make any sort of impact except keep the physios busy.

Club is moving on and the last of the old guards days are numbered IMO.

If he can recover from what was a bad injury he will definately have a chance to break into the 1st team.

However I haven't yet seen Derry play so I am willing to give the guy a chance and it sounds like he has taken over the much needed mahon role. Rowlands and Buzz will both have a big say in 1st team affairs as both are to good to warm the bench.
Yes, i agree about Rowly & Buzz, they are classy match winners, When Both Fit, they can TURN A GAME ON ITS HEAD in our favour. and they will both have 1st team action this year without a doubt, More than a lot of people think they will

Can even see Cook or Rowlands making the bench let alone playing this season.

Cooks QPR career is over and as long as they are fit Derry and Faurlin will start for the rest of the season so Rowlands is dreaming if he thinks he is waltzing back into the side.

Rowlands for Derry. I like Derry a lot. He`s a great guard dog. But a fit Rowlands can do that job and more,Derry is a great back up for Rowly and vice versa.

i hope so, then we can sell faurlin and mackie and recoup some dough that we dont get thru the turnstiles.

there is no room for him imho. (and you cant live in the past if you want to go into the future)
id be very very suprised if rowlands is a first team choice ever again.
who would you drop, he would of struggled to get in before we brought smith and hulse, now hes got no chance, and he will have even less chance when we bring in some of the 'non 25' loanees who need to play to get a club.
