Why does it always go mental like this on deadline day? Why don't they sort the deals out sooner?

Not in the interest of the player, or the selling club to take the first offer.
The longer they wait, the more options they have to consider.
Right up to the deadline.Final Version - Hope you like it: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d1z0UQ0eqRM

OK I accept that.......but there is a big difference between accepting the first offer and waiting till the last possible moment!
Seems daft to me, but what do I know?Comment

For example. Arsenal have offered Fulhan £2M TWICE over the last few months for Mark Schwarzer, then low & behold Arsenal come back today with a £4.5M offer. Ie; running out of time & options therefore have to up the bid.
In a nutshell better deal for Fulham.
But of course it goes both ways.Comment
