Three years already, i remember being in the Wetherspoons at Leeds train station waiting for my Burnley connection when it come across the bottom of the tv saying the game was off.
A sad day, especially for all families involved.

RIP... If he was around today no doubt we wouldnt need to be struggling for a striker!

Rip in Ray a moment in our lives a life time in our memories!
            Was a lovelly boy!

Really polite, I remember one night he opted to watch bad girls on one channel over west ham in the ueffa cup on tv, I remember giving him loads of stick but he had a good sense of humour!

                RIP ray jones.
he was a special talent and may well have been a very big player for us. i believe he would have ended up in the premier league one way or another.

Regarding Daphne, I still remember getting my british rail train tickets (stubby piece of card in those days) from her and looking at them like they were the golden ticket, which in truth they were, as in those days they we were London's top team and beat people for fun.

Jones had bags of talent and could have been the striker we all are craving at the moment
