    Go abroad!

Why look at average strikers in England when we can get top strikers abroad for same amount of money!!!

There are plenty of bargains out there!!!!

Markus Pedersen play for Strømsgodset in Norway is an example.
I say much better than Kitson and the futere ahead of him. 1m and he is ours

doing it in the norweigen league is hardly impressive. We are looking to sign proven players that have done it at championship level or higher
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

Some good players in Norwegian football.

      I like Huseklepp from Brann.
First game: Arsenal vs Queen's Park Rangers at Highbury, Saturday 17th November 1984.

Anthony Annan was superb for Ghana in the WC and is at Rosenborg.

On the net or at a pub near my house. Norwegian tv shows a lot of games on the net.

I follow Fredrikstad. Top of the league in the Championship equivalent.

Pedersen is one of the best strikers in Norway and Kitson is one of the best in England?

Don't follow Norwegian football but I would assume there top level is around the league 1 status in england. Sorry mate but we can't take a gamble on a player that plays in the mickey mouse league just my opinion.

I don't know Norwegian football well either but that's an astonishingly ignorant position to take straight off the bat.

Ok your right and I shouldn't assume but logic says it must be a very long way off being premiership standard that Roberts has been successful in. Did read that again and I didn't mean it to come across so arrogant but I hope this has now explained it.

You have to agree at least that by European standards the prices in the Championship (in England in general really) are grossly inflated. If the club put the work (and money, admittedly) into scouting abroads then I'm sure there's another Faurlin or two to be had out there somewhere.

Nope, born and bred in Shepherd's Bush!

Have lived in the borough all my life.

makes me laugh how people just say know to a player because they are from a lesser club.
I can list many examples of good players coming from lower league clubs.
                            Ferdinand- Hayes
                            Walters- Mansfield ?
                            Kitson- Cambridge
                            Roberts- Bristol Rovers
                            Pedersen- Tromso
                            Ibrahimovic- Malmo
                            Vidic- Red Star
                            Hernandez- havent got a clue

The list could go on, its worth the risk at a low price

Think scouting in other countries has its worth but at the moment we need a proven 'championship' goalscorer
