I like Matt Connolly, I really do. Composed,good reader on the game,comfortable in possession.

My concern about him, is when is up against a big strong,no nonsense centre forward (Henderson,Boothroyd,Adebola etc)

I remember last season at home to Coventry, Leon Best bullied him the whole game and Matt struggled.

I guess we will see......

Correct, I too hope Warnock works on his physical approach to these type of players

you obviously dont rate him but ive seen him play enough times against quality strikers and hes coped fine far better defender than fitz hall

ive always rated connolly. he was unlucky last season with injuries and illness, but if he stays fit this season he could be a big, big player for us. i mean, how likely is it that fitz hall will be fit for more than half the season?
