I love reading the rumours and I'm not surprised in the slightest that this one didn't happen because of where Stoke is both in terms of location for the players and league position.

No problem with rumours, never understand why some shoot the messenger and at that price think walters a lucky escape.

My only slight criticism, made many times before, is that posters get a bit over excited and make out all these deals are done. It should be enough to say we are in talks.

Anyway, not going to lose any sleep over this. Far keener on getting an out and out goal scorer.

to be fair, i dont think id ive even known that qpr were even interested in walters if it wasnt for this forum. cos it doesnt mention us at all in the stories of his arrival at stoke in both papers ive got this morning.

Changing the subject, I know Warnock has gone a bit over the top a bit in voicing his disappointment on Walters, but I'm beginning to think a lot of what he says is mind games with other managers and clubs.
If he makes this out to be a far more massive blow than it really is, perhaps that's for the benefit of listening ears from other clubs.
