I said while back we had bid for two championship players. I belive they were McAnuff and Smith. We are bidding and talking to players but no one seems to want to come to us yet.

I think we might get Roberts like the Bellamy deal if no one else goes for him. he does support us and is from w London area.

the reason why i wouldn,t commit to saying done deal was because i was hearing conflicting stories.
when the premiership squads are announced there will a lot of high profile players available,me personally i would wait till then .

what confuses me is how someone can be "100% done" and then deal off within the space of a few hours.

How do we define 100% these days?

true but deadline is less than 2 weeks so pretty sure premiership managers know who is in their squad and who isn't
