            Rumour I have heard is that someone directed Michael Owen to this thread and he fell off his chair injuring his hip in the process at the mere thought of coming here.

            Needless to say we wish him well in his recovery.

                                        I would be shocked and amazed (And Delighted) if this was to come off, though can't help but believe that this is just another one to add to the long list of striker rumours.

                                        If we were in for him great, but would Owen really drop down a division........Even if he wasn't getting games for United, surely another Premiership side would be in for him if he was available for loan.

                                                I'm with the doubters on this one but as for the highlighted bit, I agree with you, unless Fergie has the same attitude as Mancini that he will not loan such a player to any one in the Prem for fear of it enhancing their chances against those of the Parent Club
