There is no point in trying to big Walters up as many won't listen. I was banging my head against the wall with regards to Mackie as it was the same boring answer of '7 goals last season...he's a s**t striker' etc.

Same thing is happening with Walters. For me, this is a player who fits perfectly, and as harsh as it is on Hogan...Walters is better and will be more effective. Not as fast, but a smarter footballer who is a very good finisher.

Knock the fee all you like lads, but IMO, he's worth it.
    Your mum would love me...

If he's a replacement for Routledge, that's the right wing, that's Mackie's berth, not Hogan's.

        Another suggestion...
we signed Mackie as a striker -- could it be that Walters will go on the right and Mackie replace HH up front?
        Just a thought, like...

would screw the team up completley. im prolly helgusons biggest hater, but he plays a great part in this formation, and one mackie never could if moved out of position and swapped with him. the only way we can improve on our already great start is swap helguson for a like to like, but it would have to be someone better than him at scoring tho.
sad to say, but i reckon IF walters comes, hogan will step down.
