He can join Michael Owen in our new look front two.

I believe it was a 'stone wall dead cert fact' which I can only assume is one up from Pete's '100% nailed on' guesstimations.

Personally, I think he got confused and thought it was Dean Sturridge.

              Easy mistake.

no i got it wrong, but like i said in the other thread, they are cheapening the competition by feilding weakened sides against the shite. never saw that coming.
i should of just said the league, and i would of done if id of known how they were treating the competition.
man united made 10 changes and chelsea made four.
he started for them against the equivalent of a pub side, you all got lucky and i got unlucky. cos that was his first EVER game in europe as well.
i was wrong, and should of stipulated after the first round.

Chelsea aren't exactly spoilt for choice after Drogba and Anelka. Kalou is pony, so Sturridge was always gonna get a look in during the course of the season.

It's ok to be wrong mate. It's fine to have an opinion, but stating things as 'fact' when they couldn't be further from one is opening yourself up for a dig when it goes wrong.

I'll bet he plays in at least 5 more competitive games this season. He's a very, very good forward, and is clearly rated by Anchelotti.
i said it was my opinion and ill stake my e reputation on it, and i was wrong, and in hindsight i should of just said premier league.
and i was talking about united and chelsea not playing full strength teams, which neither did.

In fact, I'd be willing to lay a bullseye on him playing some part in the league for them...this season.

so why wouldnt they get rid and if so why not down the road to their little neighbours?
                                makes a lot of sense.
