    New Prem 25 man squad rule affecting us signing a striker?

    Instead of mass panic maybe we should just believe that Warnock, who has been a football manager for 30 years, is no mug and is simply waiting for a host of 20 goal a season strikers to be told by their respective Prem clubs they are not in the 25 man squad. As the window draws to a close clubs will finalise their squads and players will be looking for moves to Championship clubs like us and we will bag that striker everyone wants (maybe on loan but we will still have him)

          Neil himself said on 5live he did not fancy waiting for the 25 man rule to kick in as it leaves to much uncertainty.

          Scrambling around for a player with limited time is hardly the ideal way for a club like ours to find a 20+ goals a season man is it?.

          I think if we were to sign a name striker he would be here now, maybe a chance of a decent player on loan with the squad anouncements but its not something worth relying on.

              dont think the 25 man squad rule applies to under 21's so that rules out the likes of Moses and Macheda :-) but theres got to be a decent over 21 year old player who is going to be left out in the cold because of this new rule

                  Neil says alot of things and he is very good with his words when it comes to knocking the press and other clubs off a scent.
