    Hogan Ephraim?

Now I have seen this guy so many times and I really struggle to see what he offers the team. It seems that Warnock likes him, but what he sees I really struggle to see.

He really irritates me by the way he flaps his hands in the air like some kid in the play ground if he doesn't get the ball to his feet or something.

You never see him attach his full back or get round him, let alone put in a teasing balls in for the forwards.
First game: Arsenal vs Queen's Park Rangers at Highbury, Saturday 17th November 1984.

I refer the right-honourable gentleman to goals number 2 and 4 from Saturday afternoon.

Goal No 2 was a poor cross straight at the keeper, which the keeper then fumbled terrible, right at the feet of Mackie.

I'm not his biggest fan... he's too lightweight and inconsistant.

But the 4th goal v Barnsley shows that he can deliver a decent ball. Just not often enough.

In the game v barnsley he looked like he was a new player - he was one of the top performers but tonite he lacked confidence again and seemed to move the ball sideways or backwards - never seemed to move it forwards or take the player on.

i agree...he was great against barnsley.
i also agree about your assessment of him from last night to an extent, but he could hardly help it if absolutely no-one around him made a run or even moved for the ball.

thats fair enough, but there were other beautiful passes he made against barnsley, for example his little dink over the top to adel, who went on to win the first penalty.

When we're on top in a game, he can be ok but when chips are down he's woeful. Rangers fans have shown him so much patience and what has he actually shown in performances? And I mean when he's had an impact on the game not just the odd nice pass or cross? I can think of palace away and maybe a couple of league cup games. He's woeful, lightweight and needs to be got rid.
Legs can stay as long as he never plays centre mid again

he isnt a winger, play him i the center he is good. good touch, good pass.

he is good enough for the squad.

Wont progress with Ephraim as a starter, simple.

Just an average squad player really. Rarely fluctuates between 5, 6 or 7 out of 10.

Think there is room for improvement. McAnuff certainly better.

Essentially he is a player who can do well when Rangers are doing well, but is incapable of turning a game of leading a team.

Good squad player who will always try. They can't all be match winners realistically.

The boy is just another average footballer, he will never be anything more and sometime like last night he can be a hell of a lot less.
