Honestly I like the style of Magilton and De Canio more because its rolled out from the box and played on the floor, reality is we never really got anywhere with that and Warnock the manager does tend to like the hooball, but if it gets us promoted...who cares.

Must admit I got tired of seeing Kenny hoof the ball at every opportunity. Would have rather he rolled it out from the back. But then, I'm not sure how comfortable our defenders (including 2 new ones) are on the ball to do that. Orr looked okay. Fitz is reknowned for just lumping it.

Sod 'em. Let them think what they like. He'll always be tarred with that brush but we all know different and we'll make them eat their words with the football we'll play this season.

Neil is entering the autumn of his career now and is undergoing a sea-change. By his own admission he would NEVER have signed a player like Tarrabt 10 years ago.

Have you not read the comments on this thread Pete? Warnock was a "hoofball merchant" at other clubs,he never had the wealth of talent we have in midfield,so he played to the strengths he had/could afford and bombed the ball into the box for someone to clatter into the centre halves!!! I will say though,it is a good option to have,when needed!!

Yes its called "experience", Warnock has it, JM didn't.

Not only that, JM clearly had anger-management issues. NW has a temper too, difference being he knows how and when to channel it to his and his teams advantage.
