It seems Mackie is playing out of his skin because he knows that NW is still looking to sign another striker, giving him that extra incentive to prove himself. Great man-management too.

He is not that bad, a NW type player who will bust a gut for us, can see him being a fan fav just for his work rate alone. very happy with this signing(if it happens) still need big out and out striker up top thou, maybe time to look abroad ???

lets get a premiership type player, we got enough neil warnock type players now.

i love the whole 'neil warnock type player' what constitutes being a neil warnock type player? if its giving 110% effort then why dont we resign gaz - a warnock type player.

we have the work rate, was evident saturday. what we dont have is the quality.

ironic coz last year we had the quality(routledge, simpson, taarabt, faurlin, buzsaky), but not the work ethic.
Soldier: "im on reconnaissance sir.. im looking for our camouflage expert.. have you seen him?"
                Lovejoy: "No?!"
Soldier: "GOD DAMNIT THAT GUYS GOOD!"

He is a very good player not the 20+ goal man we are after but this is not the icing on the cake signing everyone is waiting for this lad is tall, skillful ighting quick, right footed but used alot on the left cutting in perfect signing for our system with him being about to cover all our front 4 players he would be a spot on signing for our system

Im sure NW will get a chopra roberts king type player but we have other posititions to cover in a long hard season I for one would love to see him in the hoops would be a class transfer
                    You've answered your own question

still 2 or 3 signings for that really need to wait to see what the prem teams do with there squads with only 25 man squads alot of players will be left out in the cold
