    Barnsley in the Bok

Taken from bfc.org,how many others will try this

You got in the Springbok?! Me and my mate were stopped by the door man, who asked to see our tickets and spotted they were away ones. He let us drink outside but only one of us allowed in to get served!

£2-50 QPR Pin on Badge from the stall just down from the pub went to the side door the door man looked at my shirt with the badge on it and just stood to the side and said alright lads i ignored him and looked down mi nose at him a bit and just walked past him, he must have though i was a ****ney with been rude and not speaking to him and mi brother just walked in at the back of me.

Springbok is heaving now on match days. Good atmosphere as well. Good sing song in there on Sat after the game.

They still need more bar staff!
First game: Arsenal vs Queen's Park Rangers at Highbury, Saturday 17th November 1984.

This happened at the end of last season on the tuesday night game with Watford. Three Watford fans (harmless enough) walked up got refused entry. One turned round went in that little club shop bought a scarf went back up to the doorman who not 2 mins previous refused him entry and along with his two mates was allowed to walk straight in. Upon leaving the pub the Watford fan removed scarf and gave it to the doorman !!!!

Dangerous game. If they get sussed in there they would not stand a chance.

buy and wear another clubs scarf or badge just to get a pint???

I don't care about morals 'cause the world's insane and we're all to blame anyway

I know, where's the logic? Could use the Scarf/badge money to get an extra pint elsewhere.
Maybe they just want to tell their mates they drank in a Home pub and no one touched them. Sad.

Alternatively, it's a good long walk to the nearest other pub if you're pushed for time. Worth the price of a pin badge to avoid the walk down to the Uxbridge Road IMO
