    The penalty taken by Helguson

He took it with the look of a player who has scored 25 goals already this season and must be pretty confident still in his ability as a footballer

Has taken a lot of stick and though is not of course the perfect player the way he just strolled up and practically rolled the ball in the net was class

    Great penalty.

Great in the air and holds it up fairly well. Problem with him is that he has no pace whatsoever so is very one dimensional.

Had a very good game. Missed 2 very easy chances, but with a bit of confidence will be a good squad player.

Is he going to be our regular penalty taker this season? Or was he given it to boost his confidence as he missed an easy chance earlier?

Only asking as Taarabt took the 2nd for no apparent reason.

Hands up how many of you thought 'OH NO' when you see HH grab the ball for the first pen? I did and so did many around me but hey it was a great pen which should give him confidence

Helguson gave the ball to tarbs for the second as he had just put the ball in the net as the

ref blew for the pen, it wasn't a case of tarbs demanding the ball.

His pen was good IF he saw their keeper move early the other way.
But if not. It was not great. Imagine if it was saved ? With his previous and his 2nd half miss. We'd be slating him big time.

Nice gesture by him for Adel on 2nd pen and I like the idea of a 2nd pen going to an another player as it removes any previous knowledge for their keeper.

Thought Heidi would have taken the second given he scored the first, would of done his self confidence the world of good.
