I got that call too and also one from the marketing department. I told them that te prices are much too high in relation to other clubs, and in relation tothe amount we have spent (or not) in the transfer market.
I haven't bought one because I want to play as many games for my club as I can on Saturdays, but I couldn't afford one anyway. I honestly think £300-£450 MAX should be the range. I think they are short-sighted in having charged so much. There is an old business thought that you get more money from people once you get them in the venue, which is fairly true. If they filled the place, they'd get massive extra revenue from purchases of programmes, food/drink, and also future sales of tickets as loyalty grows. They have sold more tickets albeit at a lower price but with probably the same overall revenue. Results would perhaps get better with more support too and it would help attract better more ambitious players here to regular full houses.
To me they have missed a trick...Comment

I just kept screaming, "Where's my scarf?? Where's my f***ing scarf?!!" at Warnock... but he just carried on talking.
The fact that I bought my ST 2 months ago didn't seem to stop him.
I must admit, his voice is a smooth as silk sheets.
If I didn't know what he actually looked like, I'd have been quite aroused.Final Version - Hope you like it: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d1z0UQ0eqRM

He rang me 10 minutes ago saying that the large balding guy who sits in the corner better not bring his vuvuzeller or he is off. He also said he was very concerned about Mike Hunts cat

The man just wouldn't listen.
But after a while, you start thinking, "ahhhh, I could listen to your voice forever".
Real charmer. You can see how Leon Clarke just melted under his persuasion, and signed on the dotted line.
You often have to pay upwards of £1.50 PER MINUTE to hear a voice like that sweet talking you down the phone.

Maybe he's got no one on his "Friends and Family" offer?
Didn't he say on that 5 Live interview that his phone bill is around £700 a month?
Why don't he just use Twitter?Comment
