A lot of these midfielders take the penalties at their clubs

And I'm sure Sirpie has done this type of thing already - but look at how many 20plus a season players there are in that list = 2 and neither of those sides went up - but that won't stop the constant demand for a 20plus striker to ensure promotion.

Not far off the weakest forward line in the division. My marks out of ten for what there worth.

              keeper 8/10

              Defence 7/10

Midfield 7.5/10 without Tarrabt 8.5 with

              Attack 4/10

                    Indeed I did: http://www.wearetherangersboys.com/f...ad.php?t=64918

Maybe Scunny and Bristol City would have suffered without their goal machines or maybe by only having one decent striker it puts pressure on the team to pass to that player rather than taking the shot themselves? Maybe there are reasons why Scunny and City didn't walk the league whereas other teams without such players performed much better? Or maybe Hooper or Maynard would have scored even more for Newcastle and WBA? Who knows. The fact is you don't need a 20+ goal scorer to get promoted as last year proved.

[QUOTE=qblockpete;416033]We'll have a striker in before Saturday...

Be cool if this is the case but surely he'd need some to train with his new team mates so won't be expecting much from him too soon!!
