With all this talk about Simpson going to Hull, Palace or whoever, please can someone tell me why he is not coming to Rangers.

We have had the benefit of getting to know him and he did very well for us and I'm assuming he enjoyed his time here.

The only stumbling I can think of is money again. If that is the case then our owners really want shooting as proven goalscorers at this level are hard to find.

I for one think he will score even more goals if he played alongside a decent big man up front, something that he never had last season.

Another one slips through the net.... add him to the list. Let's look at the positives, at least we've got Leon Clarke

Agree - Simpson didn't set the world alight after Warnock arrived last season, in fact his form was poor plus dont think he is a Warnock type player.

I really liked Jay Simpson and thought he did superbly for us in extremely difficult circumstances. However, he was probably the only player who's performances dipped once Warnock arrived. So on that basis i could understand if NW doesn't want him. That said Would personally be very pleased to have him back.

I've never rated Simpson. Think he is very over-rated but thats just my view. He does a job but nothing more. Misses more chance than he puts away and I think he's no better than a fit and confident Clarke. I guess time will tell if I am eating my words. I just hope supporter really get behind the team 100% for the first 15 games without bitching and moaning like crazy.

last season has nothing to do with this season!!zamora scored loads last season but i bet he does not score half as many this season and the same with ambrose

Didn't score much for Warnock.
He's small, so can't play middle of Warnock's ideal front three.
Could play left or right of a front three so maybe we're missing a trick.
He only got 13 last season after all. I like him a lot, but he's a consumate finisher and not a lot else.
