Very very true. To attract a wider fan base or new fan base prices would need to be dropped.......... this wont happen

        via belgium?
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

I didn't mean for this thread to turn into one about ST ticket prices. My salary has always been below the national average and I don't come from a wealthy background so in no way was I trying to say that paying top dollar is ok because I can afford it because I often can't. The company I work for is likely to go under by April and I'm going to be a student again next month so please don't think that I've tried to come across as Mr Wealthy because in truth I've rarely got to pennies to rub together.

Anyway, nobody has really answered the original question so for those unhappy with the ST prices what would make you happy? Would you prefer cheaper prices but same quality of player or same prices but much better quality of players?

                          Simple really. 2 quality strikers.

Any 2 of the following would shut me up and I love a moan. Only moan cos its so bleeding obvious what we need.....

                          Chopra/Kitson/Ebanks-Blake/Wellbeck/Sturridge/Hooper/Boyd/Simpson/Ish Miller/Delfounso.

I know that some of these are only realistic on loan.

                              yer it has
got to remember though that we had Adel last season too and we still struggled....need them strikers!
Does show that the board are backing Warnock in his targets tho so well done the board.

Agree with vblock. Tabs signing brings with it a massive feel-good factor and suggests to me the board will pay significant but sensible amounts of money if the right players come available at the right price. Against that as vblock says he played 41 games for us last season and that wasn't enough to get us promoted so strikers must be brought in, too (which I'm now more confident they will be).
As for fans, ours like those of every other club prob want it all ways - cheaper prices and better players. My own preferance wd be higher prices and better players but I also accept I'm probably better off than many fans so not such a sacrifice and therefore easier for me to say.
