    Surely we are interested?

With the Mirror again reporting that Matt Fraytt is available for 1.5M and it being common knowledge that Chopra is available for 3M surely if we spend 4.5M on these two along with the squad we have we would stand a very good chance of promotion? we would be crazy to let these two get away imo. Anyone know if we have made any enquiries etc???

Warnock has said he wants two strikers. So many different names are being touted by so many different people who are supposedly ITK but who's to say that we are/aren't interested? Time will tell I guess but I'd have both if it were up to me and we had the money.

I'd love to have them, could be our 20 goal a season men.

IMO we'd go from top half team to pushing the likes of Forest, Burnley and Boro all the way. Warnock's teams rarely concede but don't score enough. Add these two and we'd score a lot and that would make us favourites for a reason.

Couldn't agree with you more.WTF are we waiting for? Hulse bound for Blackpool and we're scratching around for hand-me-downs.Chopra and/or Fryatt would make all the difference to our season. We've had 3 months since the end of last season and 3 years before that to address the problem but our boards total indifference to fetching in 2 decent strikers speaks volumes to me.They can't be serious about promotion this or any other season.Put your hands in your pockets board ,we have.

              Good post Gee

I would take 1 of those 2 but getting both would be fantastic and we would have plenty of goals in our side, something we haven't had in years.
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

£4.5m for 2 strikers who scored about 35 goals between them last season is a bargain imo.

spot on stanley! infact Fryatt is quality, we should take advantage that sousa doesn't do strikers.

First thing Sousa did was put all the strikers on the transfer list so he could buy defensive midfielders.

How do you know that for sure?
Do you know exactly what is going on behind the scenes? Suspect not.
These things take time and can be very involved!
As for the Hand-me-downs, if, for example, Fryatt and/or Chopra signed would they not be hand-me-downs? They would because they've been handed down from another club.

Hand-me-downs are normally discarded, unwanted clothes akin to the type of strikers we've been linked with.As for these things taking time, how much longer than 3 years do these men want, whilst they fleece us for the 6th most expensive ST's and match day tickets in the country, let alone the Championship.Ipswich and Keane desperately want Chopra but can't afford to go to the £3m that Cardiff want, who themselves are in dire staits. Its a no brainer.

Our board don't have the ambition or commitment to go out and get 2 decent strikers such as those unfortunately
