According to the SS Transfer Clockwatch it says that the Bristol Evening Post are reporting it rather than SS.

As much as I liked JS last season, why not bid for other players who could do better.

Simpson did quite well considering he played most of the season in his own up front.

He has pace, and I think would he and Mackie be good in a 3 pronged attack with a bigger central striker.

And considering Wenger doesn't want to keep him, he should cost around £700K, which in my view would be very good value for a forwrad who can score around 15 goals a season.

If we were to sign a striker who isnt proved or a journeyman then i would be livid if we didnt even go in for simpson. Theres better players out there but hard to get. ive heard chopra is very close to ipswich

It looks like the first bit of his prediction was right re Adel, and at the moment Simpson hasn't gone anywhere but is obviously looking. Things look like they are about to happen, the next few days will show our intentions.
