    Strikers !!

    If you were Warnock what would you do ?

    Try your damndest to get 2 strikers ( of mediocre standard eg Henderson, Stead types ) in before kick off next Saturday just to appease us

    OR

    Wait until nearer the end of August when the Premier boys will be trimming their squads and the potential for a better class of player may become available.

    I would personally go with the second option . Its a long season and it wont be won in August

      I think Clarke and Mackie were brought in partly because Warnock rates them, and partly as "insurance" if we had problems getting another striker(s) in.
      Its obvious from what NW has been saying that he recognises our strike force is still not what he wants, don't see him buying anybody just to "appease" fans, and indeed he shouldn't.

          option B,definetly if it means crap players like Stead coming here

                  I'm actually really excited about seeing Mackie.

                  There has been a massive amount of hype regarding this player and I really hope he lives up to the expectations. I just really can't believe we haven't got an out and out striker who I think we are desperate for. I know mackie knows how to score but we can't expect him to score more than 12 goals this season.
                  I played sunday league football today.

                  Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

                  I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

                  We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!
